Free Online Image Cropper

Crop a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image with a free selection, aspect-ratio presets, or precise pixel dimensions.

How to use crop

  1. Open your photo, then select Crop in the bottom toolbar. This page opens the crop dialog on the bundled sample so you can try it immediately.
  2. Choose Free, Original, or an aspect-ratio preset. Drag the selection and its corners, or enter dimensions directly. Arrow keys move the selection; Shift moves it farther.
  3. Select Apply crop, then export. Use Reset crop inside the dialog and Apply crop to restore the original bounds.

What to know

Each crop is calculated from the retained original image. Cropping does not rotate or straighten a photo, and cancelling the dialog leaves the previous crop unchanged.

Files and export

Open a PNG, JPEG, or WebP with the file picker, drag-and-drop, or clipboard paste. All image processing happens on your device. Choose PNG or WebP to preserve transparency, or JPEG to flatten it onto a color. Exports use the original image resolution plus the frame unless you choose a smaller size.

A modern browser with WebGL2 is required. Browser and GPU limits can prevent very large exports; picshader explains the limit and offers a smaller size. No account or watermark is required.
