Create a Transparent Image Frame Online
Preserve image transparency and export clear padding, rounded corners, and shadow margins as PNG or WebP.

How to use transparent frame
- Open a PNG or WebP with transparency, or start with an opaque photo and add rounded corners or padding.
- In Frame → Background, keep Transparent checked. Show grid reveals clear pixels; Show color previews them against the chosen website background.
- Export PNG or WebP to preserve alpha. The website preview color is not included when transparency is enabled.
What to know
This tool preserves or adds transparency around the frame. It does not automatically remove a photographic background. JPEG exports flatten transparency onto a selected color.
Files and export
Open a PNG, JPEG, or WebP with the file picker, drag-and-drop, or clipboard paste. All image processing happens on your device. Choose PNG or WebP to preserve transparency, or JPEG to flatten it onto a color. Exports use the original image resolution plus the frame unless you choose a smaller size.
A modern browser with WebGL2 is required. Browser and GPU limits can prevent very large exports; picshader explains the limit and offers a smaller size. No account or watermark is required.
